Trouble is a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, retired from the show ring, the obedience trial, the hunting field, and the whelping box.

Susan Drain is a professor of English and Writing Studies at Mount Saint Vincent University. She has taken up the challenge of blogging for the Mount’s Writing Resource Centre, bringing a different — canine — perspective to the challenges of writing in general and academic papers in particular.
